Barcelona legend Gerard Pique has proposed a radical rule change which he believes will make football more exciting. The former Spain defender has long been an advocate of tweaking the beautiful game to appeal to younger audiences with a shorter attention span. He hung up his boots in November 2022, but has gone on to spearhead a number of projects in the sport, including forming the Kings League, combining the worlds of Twitch streaming and elite football in a five-a-side tournament.
