Jennifer Aniston is remembering Matthew Perry one year after his sudden death. 1 year , the actress, 55, captioned an Instagram post on Monday, October 28. She posted four photos of Perry, one of which included the entire Friends cast. Aniston also tagged the Matthew Perry Foundation. Perry died on October 28, 2023, at age 54 from the acute effects of ketamine. A toxicology report released in December 2023 listed drowning (Perry was found unconscious in his hot tub), coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine as contributing factors in his death.
