Man City close in on appointing Hertha Berlin coach Oliver Reiss as their new Under-18 manager... with the 41-year-old set to leave the German club after 17 years
Hertha Berlin coach Oliver Reiss, 41, is in talks to take over as coach of Manchester City's Under-18 side. The German is currently in charge of Hertha's Under-19 side and has overseen 57 games since his appointment in 2022. He had previosuly worked as the Under-17 coach and been the U-19 assistant manager, having been with the German side as a coach for a total of 17 years. Reiss is, however, now ready for the next step in his career and is nearing an appointment to lead City's U-18 side.
