The director's in another room next door."The Golden Globe winner, who plays the character Tobias opposite Pugh's Almut in the romantic drama, said they were filming the scene and it became "passionate," just as they "choreographed it.""We get into it as it were, and we go a little bit further than we were meant to because we didn't hear 'cut' and it's feeling safe. And we're just kinda like, 'Ok, we'll just go into the next thing, we'll let this progress, and we'll just carry on.'"TheAmazing Spider-Manstar said he and Florence eventually realized that the filming was taking longer than expected."At a certain point, both of us, we're both kind of telepathically saying to each other, 'This definitely feels like a longer take.' … I look up, and in the corner is Stuart and our boom operator. Transcripts of a 1989 six-minute phone conversation between Charles and Camilla were published by the U.K. paperThe People, perThe Sunday Mirror. In it, Charles joked about wanting to be reincarnated as a Tampax tampon so he could "live inside" Camilla's trousers. The details of how the publication received the transcript remain unclear.

In 1994, the now-king publicly admitted to having been unfaithful to Diana in a televised interview with ITV, perThe New York Times. He claimed that his infidelity began after their marriage "became irretrievably broken down."

The following year, he went public with Camilla when they attended a high-profile party together.

'Devastated Beyond Words': Families Identify 6 Mothers Among Lake Tahoe Avalanche Victims

Six mothers who were close friends were among the eight people killed in an avalanche near Lake Tahoe in California's Sierra Nevada mountains, officials announced.

The Weather Channel

Their families have shared their names, identifying them as: Carrie Atkin, Liz Clabaugh, Danielle Keatley, Kate Morse, Caroline Sekar and Kate Vitt.

The group of skiers and guides was returning to the trailhead from a three-day trip when the avalanche happened, according to astatementfrom Blackbird Mountain Guides. The company said it was responding to the incident and working to support the rescue operation.

In a statement, the families said the women were passionate, experienced backcountry skiers who lived in the Bay Area, Idaho and the Truckee-Tahoe region.

They explained that the eight friends were on a guided tour and were fully equipped with avalanche safety equipment.

They said they are "devastated beyond words" about the loss of their loved ones and thanked first responders for their extensive rescue efforts.

The ski group involved has deep ties to the alpine recreation community in Lake Tahoe, including the elite Sugar Bowl Academy, which issued a statement late Wednesday mourning the loss of victims with "strong connections to Sugar Bowl, Donner Summit and the backcountry community."

"We are an incredibly close and connected community," Sugar Bowl Academy executive director Stephen McMahon was quoted as saying in the statement. "This tragedy has affected each and every one of us."

The Nevada County Sheriff's Office said the rescued skiers were evacuated by the Truckee Fire Department, and two of them were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Conditions Before The Avalanche

TheSierra Avalanche Centerissued an alert on Tuesday, warning of a "widespread" cycle that could produce large avalanches. Anavalanche warningfrom the National Weather Service is in effect until Thursday morning.

A huge winter storm blasted the region with feet of heavy snow and dangerous wind gusts. That rapid snow accumulation, combined with gusty winds, weakened the snowpack, causing Tuesday's avalanche.

Persistent weak layers are the cause of mostavalancheaccidents, according toAvalanche.org.Their experts say it's because they can trigger avalanches long after the immediate danger of a storm has passed.

Several ski resorts around Lake Tahoe were fully or partially closed due to the extreme weather. The resorts along highways have avalanche mitigation programs and were not expected to be at as high a risk as the backcountry, where travel in, near or below the avalanche terrain was strongly discouraged, according to the Sierra Avalanche Center.

"He spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world," Dane's family told PEOPLE. "Throughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight. He will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered always. Eric adored his fans and is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support he's received. The family has asked for privacy as they navigate this impossible time."

Dempsey, who portrayed Dr. Derek Shepherd on the ABC medical drama, spoke candidly about working with Dane during an appearance onThe Chris Evans Breakfast Showon Friday, Feb. 20.

The actor struggled to describe the sadness that he felt after waking up to see Dane's death in the news.

"I feel really so sad for his children," said Dempsey. "I was corresponding with him, we were texting, so I spoke to him about a week ago and some friends of ours went in to see him and he was really starting to lose his ability to speak."

Dempsey emphasized that he wants to remember Dane for the "joy" he was to work with rather than how his health had deteriorated in the last days of his life.

"He was bedridden and it was very hard for him to swallow, so the quality of his life was deteriorating so rapidly," said theBridget Jones's Babystar. "He was the funniest man - he was such a joy to work with and I want to just remember him in that spirit because any time he was on set, he brought so much fun to it.

"He had a great sense of humor. He was easy to work with, we got along instantly," Dempsey continued. "First scene was him, you know, in all his glory, coming out of the bathroom with the towel on looking amazing, making you feel completely out of shape and insignificant."

Dempsey revealed there was "never really any competition" between himself and Dane on the set ofGrey's Anatomyas they "hit it off" from the beginning.

"There was just this wonderful mutual respect," said Dempsey. "He's wickedly intelligent and I'm always going to remember those moments of fun that we had together and celebrate the joy that he did bring to people's lives and the real loss is for us who don't have them anymore."

Speaking of Dane's ALS diagnosis, the actor continued, "He did an incredible job at bringing awareness to this horrible disease and those remaining days and it just reminds us that we all have to celebrate every day like it's our last day.

"It's something that we have to remember and certainly in a world where there is just so much crisis and there is so much tragedy that we really need to be grateful for every moment that we have… spend time with our families, do things that are better, that benefit of other people to be of service to be kind, to be loving and these values with our leadership unfortunately that we're seeing around the world and certainly in America with this horrible, you know, corrupt government that is currently running America, we have to remember to treat our neighbors and our friends with the right values," Dempsey concluded.

Following Dane's death, several of his costars includingKevin McKidd, andKim Raver, shared their fond memories of Dane and sent love to his family.

Fast forward 25 years, and the latest actor to embody the Kennedy scion in a TV series has become the internet's latest obsession.

Paul Anthony Kelly, 37, a model-turned-actor, who plays JFK Jr. inFX's "Love Story: John F. Kennedy, Jr. & Carolyn Bessette",became an "internet boyfriend" shortly after theseries premiered with three episodeson Thursday, Feb. 12.

Little is known about Kelly, who hails from the small town of Port McNicoll in Ontario, Canada. The actor toldInterview Magazineduring hisfirst-ever interviewthat he "got scouted for modeling" when he moved to Toronto. From there, he went to New York.

Kelly said he modelled for a long time but also "really wanted to start acting." He added he's been auditioning for roles for about a decade, landing a spot in a show called "The Venery of Samantha Bird," which was supposed to be his "foot in the door." Although the project "never saw the light of day," that did not stop him from auditioning for "Love Story," where he eventually landed the role.

Model turned actor Paul Anthony Kelly told USA TODAY that some days it took three hours to get into character. "It would be an extra two hours for coverup (of his tattoos) and then an hour for hair and makeup," Kelly said. That perfectly coiffed Kennedy hairdo was achieved with "a little bit of water and a hairdryer and a lot of brush work."

" style="max-width:100%; height:auto; border-radius:6px; margin:10px 0;" loading="lazy" /> <p style=Sarah Pidgeon as Carolyn Bessette

Sarah Pidgeon, a natural brunette, estimates she spent 22 hours in the hair salon over two days to lighten her locks within the realm of Bessette-blond. The stories written about the couple and Bessette in particular were "so misogynistic," Pidgeon tells USA TODAY. "There was this narrative that they wanted to stick to, generally, and this characterization of her that I've just found couldn't be further from the woman that I came to know."

" style="max-width:100%; height:auto; border-radius:6px; margin:10px 0;" loading="lazy" /> <p style=Naomi Watts as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis

Naomi Watts told "Entertainment Tonight" the production "did a bunch of tests" to find the right look, "because I really look nothing like her," the actress admitted. "The coloring is all wrong, and she has a different nose, and we certainly played around with prosthetics. And then we weren't improving. We were just making me look more different. So we sort of scrapped it." Watts donned a wig for the role, brown contact lenses and makeup to close the age gap.

Dree Hemingway, the great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway, portrays "Splash" star Daryl Hannah in the limited series. In real life, JFK Jr. and Hannah had an on and off relationship for years, but broke up for good in 1994, according to reports.

Grace Gummer, daughter of Meryl Streep and sculptor Don Gummer, plays Caroline Kennedy, John Jr.'s older sister, born three years before his arrival. After Caroline's father's assassination in 1963, her mother's death following a cancer diagnosis in 1994, and John Jr.'s death in 1999, Caroline is the only surviving member of their immediate family.

Ben Shenkman ("Royal Pains," "Billions") plays Caroline Kennedy's husband Edwin Schlossberg. The couple wed in 1986 and had three children, Rose (1988), Tatiana (1990), and Jack (1993). Tatiana died of acute myeloid leukemia in December 2025.

Michael Bergin, a Calvin Klein model who acted on "Baywatch," engaged in "a casual romance" with Carolyn Bessette in 1992, Elizabeth Beller writes in "Once Upon a Time: The Captivating Life of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy," upon which FX's limited series is based. "A former hotel doorman at the Paramount, Bergin would later, in a tell-all book, 'The Other Man,' claim he was sexually involved with Carolyn from the fall of '92 until her death.
"There's no doubt Carolyn befriended Bergin, and, true to form, helped him with his career," Beller continues. "Carolyn and Michael had an on-off relationship, much more off than on. His later account of it is considered questionable by many of Carolyn's friends."
